The Story

The Transit is being developed from a Christian worldview.

The entire story takes place within an airport. The airport serves as a metaphor for the world in which we live—a place of arrivals, departures, waiting, choices, connections, missed opportunities, and destinations.

At the heart of the story is the idea that every decision ultimately leads us toward a destination—good or bad.

Through the characters and their journeys, The Transit explores questions of truth, faith, purpose, redemption, hope, human dignity, and the consequences of our decisions.

The Transit is being created to do more than tell an engaging story. At its heart is a desire to communicate the truth of the gospel through story—to invite people to consider the choices they make, the direction of their lives, and ultimately the destination toward which those choices are leading them.

THE SPIRITUAL IMPACT OF THE TRANSIT

More Than A Film

The Transit is being created to do more than tell an engaging story.
At its heart is a desire to communicate the truth of the gospel through story—to invite people to consider the choices they make, the direction of their lives, and ultimately the destination toward which those choices are leading them.
The airport in The Transit is more than a setting. It is a picture of the world in which we live. People are arriving and departing. Some are waiting. Some are distracted. Some are searching. Some believe they know where they are going. And every person is ultimately headed somewhere.
Through the characters and their journeys, The Transit explores questions of truth, faith, purpose, sin, redemption, hope, and our need for Jesus Christ.
Our hope is that the film will reach people who may never walk into a church, listen to a sermon, or intentionally seek out Christian teaching—but who may be willing to watch a compelling story.
And through that story, perhaps a conversation can begin.

“Every journey can become a doorway to hope.”

Why This Movie Matters

When I began developing The Transit, the goal was never simply to make a movie. At the heart of this project is the gospel and a desire to use story to reach people with questions that every one of us eventually has to face: Why am I here? Where am I going? What determines the destination of my life? The airport in The Transit represents the world we live in. Everyone is moving. Everyone is making choices. Everyone is ultimately headed somewhere. My hope is that someone who might never listen to a sermon may watch this story. They may identify with one of the characters. They may begin asking questions. And perhaps those questions will ultimately point them toward Jesus Christ. So when you support The Transit, you are helping us do much more than put a film on a screen. You are helping make possible a story that we pray God can use to communicate truth, awaken questions, and point people toward the hope of the gospel. And financial support isn't the only way to be part of this. You can pray for the project. You can share it. You can tell others about it. Everyone who comes alongside this vision becomes part of what we're calling
